A special thanks for Armed Forces Day
Alex Baker MP hosted a special event to recognise the contribution of the many organisations and individuals who helped bring the national celebration to the Home of the British Army.
Giving our young people the skills they need
Huge congratulations to the young people across Aldershot and Farnborough who have received their GCSEs, BTECs, A-levels, T-levels and vocational qualification results. Every young person should be able to develop the skills they need and be given the same respect for the route they choose.

Last week I was delighted to welcome Lieutenant General Paul Griffiths, Commander of Standing Joint Command, to Cody Technology Park in Farnborough where some of the countryโs most exciting defence technology and innovation is being developed.

The start of something big
Last weekend Aldershot and Farnborough did what we do best. We came together, with warmth, pride and a huge sense of purpose, to host the national Armed Forces Day celebrations.
A new chapter for Frimley Park and healthcare in our community
The preferred site for the brand-new Frimley Park Hospital has officially been announced, marking the beginning of a landmark ยฃ1.5 billion investment in our communityโs future.

It was brilliant to visit the site and see the progress being made.
Weโve waited a long time for this, and itโs fantastic to see it becoming a reality. Soon, families will have a leisure centre in Farnborough where children can learn to swim and everyone can enjoy time together. ๐โโ๏ธ
