Really good news for Farnborough 👏
40 skilled local jobs have been secured at QinetiQ’s headquarters in Farnborough thanks to a new £205 million contract to support the RAF’s Typhoon aircraft.
Farnborough has a proud, world-leading history in aerospace, and it matters that QinetiQ was born out of this town’s defence and research heritage. From those roots to today’s headquarters at Cody Technology Park, this investment shows that Farnborough’s expertise is still central to keeping the country safe.
This contract helps make sure RAF Typhoon aircraft are ready to protect our skies and support our allies, while backing skilled jobs and local families right here in our community.
I will always stand up for investment that protects local jobs and builds on Farnborough’s proud aerospace legacy.
