New Farnborough Leisure Centre plans get the green light
An exciting new leisure centre in Farnborough was given the go-ahead on Wednesday night in what campaigners have hailed as a ‘major victory for local families’.

Supporting our Armed Forces and their families in times of crisis
There is a sizeable number of civilians and service families with local connections in the Middle East or with loved ones there. They are facing an incredibly challenging and dangerous time and I have been working very hard with my Parliamentary colleagues to make sure everyone is safe.

Sink holes, potholes and gaps in accountability
Residents are rightly asking when lasting repairs to our roads will be delivered. I have met the Conservative-run County Council to press for clear timelines, transparent communication and a firm plan for permanent repairs, particularly in areas residents have repeatedly flagged with me.

I’ve been campaigning hard to get more investment into communities like ours. So I’m really please that, by working alongside our Labour councillors, we’ve secured £20 million for Cherrywood through this Government’s Pride in Place programme.
