ABOUT ME

I am very proud to have been elected to serve the people of Aldershot and Farnborough at the 2024 General Election.
I live in Farnborough with my husband and two children. This means that representing this area is personal for me – I want the best for the residents of this constituency.
So, I was delighted to be the very first Labour MP, and the first woman, to represent this vibrant and dynamic community.
I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2006 and have worked in various roles for the Co-operative Group and, until my election, I worked on the regeneration of Battersea Power Station, one of the UK’s most successful regeneration schemes. I hope to bring the skills I have picked up during my career in the private sector to revitalise this area.
I intend to be the most visible and accessible MP that this constituency has ever had, and you will see me out and about on the doorstep and at community events all year round.
I hope that this website gives you a flavour of my work. I would be delighted if you would sign-up to receive my regular updates by adding your contact details in the box below.
Information about how to contact me, or to see what I am up to in Parliament and how I vote, is available here.
